eBay Scales

Hi, i'm looking to buy pocket scales in the near future and have turned to eBay
for something a bit cheaper than what I can find locally. There's a set of
Tanita scales at the local tobacconist going for $200 (Australian), which is a
bit steep for me.
Naturally, i'm very wary of the quality and legitimacy
of eBay scales. I was wondering if someone could take a look at the 3 scales i'm
looking at and tell me whether I should bother bidding on them or not. Any info
at all would be much appreciated.
First
set of scales (No brand name apparent)
Second
set of scales (Neva)
Third
set of scales (LanteScale)
I've actually made a
1 cent bid on the last one, just because it's 1 cent. Will most likely be
outbidded.

Out of those 3 I'd pick the last one. However it's like picking which finger do
you want cut off and deciding on "the pinky finger".
Can't you find a
Tanita on eBay cheap or some other real name brand scale? I kind of laughed at
those auctions, they are full of inaccuracies or lies. I'd be willing to bet you
a lot of money that isn't a "genuine leather case" as they claim and the "fits
in the Palm of hand" shows you they're trying to make you think of other brands
with their language.
Lante is XCH-Sensor who makes scales for many of the
cheaper brands in the market. That's their house brand, I have some samples here
with that name on them. Neva is this strange Ukranian guy "polarized optics" who
only sells on eBay and is apparantly some sort of sunglass seller who seems to
have something to do with selling sunglasses in eastern Europe (wierd I know but
this is what I am seeing when I checked his old auctions and linked ID's plus we
had been asked to check on Neva before and it was just a private label brand
being outsourced by Digiweigh at that time).
The first one - I have no
clue really. Good luck with your purchase though and please post your experience
regardless of which one you
buy.
