Hi,

I also would like to buy a carat scale with accuracy 0.01ct or 0.005ct. My budget is around $150. I don't need to carry it around so there's no size limitation. I need the scale to weigh very small size sapphires around 1/100th of carat each piece.

I noticed Platinum Precision carat scale PCT50 is sold at $99. The accuracy is of 0.005ct. I never heard of this brand. I called the dealers to find out where it's made and they didn't have info on that. I prefer the scale made in U.S. or Japan, not in China. If you don't have information on this model, could you please make a recommendation on what brands and models are good?

You have a lot of choices, really you do. It depends on your budget. How much
can you spend around and what are your size limitation?
